King Vegeta's Legacy

Personalized Techniques

Learned By Any Character!

What Personalized Techiques are:
Much like the attack creation system, certain techiques can be created that are unique to the character. These techniques follow the same rules as regular techniques, except that their effects are open ended.

Some personalized techniques only have one effect. In this case, only the name and description of the technique is changed or "Personalized".

Other techiques have many effects listed. When learning these techniques, an admin must always be consulted to make sure the technique is not unbalanced. Usually only one of the effects is chosen for the technique when creating it.

Some Personalized Technique Examples:

Prince Tactics, Mind Move Master
Vegeta uses his mind to predict the next comming attack by the opponent. Once per battle/spar, Vegeta can dodge an attack grade Minute through Super.

Burning Fingers, Elemental Control Fire Adept
Vegeta uses his limited knowledge in fire manipulation to enhance his physical attacks. Any physical attack Vegeta performs may be enhanced with +KI fire damage costing 3+KI in Ki Points.

Stun Move
PERSONALIZED
Stun move is a made up move by a character that its sole purpose is to stun the opponent. Using ki to daze, disorient, or any other stun is available. Stunning is a very strenuous action, though the techniques themselves are easy to learn. Stunning an opponent takes a large amount of ki, as it is difficult to shut down an opponents senses.
Self-taught
Beginner:
20,000 PL, 12 Intelligence, 4 Ki Manipulation
At this level, the stun move grazed the opponent, briefly stunning him. 1 turn of stun, if the opponent is a lower Battle Level than you, costing [(3+KI) x3] in Ki Points. Other wise, the opponent will shrug this move off.
Adept:
80,000 PL, 15 Intelligence, 8 Ki Manipulation
The stun move now has been upgraded to be able to stun most opponents, from a short to an average amount of time. Opponents with a Battle Level lower than yours will succumb to the stun for 2 turns while opponents with a Battle Level equal or higher than yours still resist most of the stun, but more than likely will be stunned for at least 1 turn. Costing [(4+KI) x3] in Ki Points.
Master:
150,000 PL, 18 Intelligence, 15 Ki Manipulation
Stunning the opponent is easy with this potent stun move. Opponents who’s Battle Level is 2 or more less than you will fall into a deep stun, lasting 3 turns and taking 1+KI damage. Opponents that have a Battle level 1 less or equal to yours will be stunned for a decent amount of time, 2 turns. Stronger opponents with a battle level greater than yours will however be stunned for a small amount of time, 1 turn. Costing [(5+KI) x3] in Ki Points.

Hold Move:
PERSONALIZED
Hold Move is based around using Ki in order to restrain the opponent in order to cause him to be vulnerable to any attack you could put forth. Holding the opponent is a difficult task, since the energy you use must be strong enough so as the opponent cannot break through it, and you must have enough control in order to entrap the energy onto him. An example of a hold move would be Gotenks' Galactic Doughnuts.
Self-taught
Beginner:
50,000 PL, 8 Ki Manipulation, 14 Ki
Being the lowest level, at this level Hold Move is very weak. Holds do not last long and are easily broken through. However, opponents with 2 or more Battle Levels less than you will find trouble in escaping these holds, lasting 2 turns, while anyone with more than a relative small amount of PL in difference to you will not break a sweat in dispersing this move. Costing (2+KI x3) in Ki Points.
Adept:
150,000 PL, 15 Ki Manipulation, 17 Ki
This more skilled version of Hold Move is much more effective. Weaker opponents with 1-3 Battle Levels less than you find themselves helpless for good set amounts of time, 3 turns, while stronger opponents with a Battle Level equal you or greater seem to be held for a short while, 1 turn. Feeble opponents with a Battle Level of 4 or more less than you cannot break free, no matter how much they struggle. Costing [(3+KI) x3] in Ki Points.
Master:
500,000 PL, 30 Ki Manipulation, 20 Ki
Weaker and feeble opponents with 1-3 Battle Levels less than you find themselves trapped for 4 turns, while stronger opponents with a Battle Level equal you or greater struggle to break free for 2 turns. Feeble opponents with a Battle Level of 4 or more less than you cannot break free, no matter how much they try. Coinciding with this move, attacking aspects, like exploding holds and damaging holds can be done at this level, doing between 1-5+KI damage. Attack Point(s) can be spent to add this effect. Costing [(4+KI) x3] in Ki Points.

Defense Move:
PERSONALIZED
Yet another personalized move, this technique is exactly what its name would make it out to be, purely defensive. With this your character may shield, deflect, cancel, redirect, or brace against any move thrown at you by the opponent. There are many restrictions that are put on this technique. Examples are how strong the opponent can be compared to your Battle Level, how often you can use the defense in battle, and what moves can be defended against. There are many examples of defensive moves used through the show. Energy Shields, Screaming, After Image, etc.
NOTE: This techniques may only be learned once

Multiple Forms:
PERSONALIZED
Multiple Forms allows the user to split his or her body into multiple bodies and beings. Each body has a mind of its own, but still has the conscience and thought of the original body. Although the more bodies that are made, the weaker they become, this technique shines in making a one man army, and also confusing the opponent by having so many opponents appear the same. When used, the copies split the user HP and KP between all forms. If at any time, any form of you would be brought to 0 HP, all forms return to one body. An example of a Multiple Forms would be the Multi Form technique, created by Tien.
NOTE: Any Battle Levels lost when splitting forms, stat points are taken from the forms Defense stat.

Mind Move:
PERSONALIZED
Mind Move can unlock the users potential in telekinetic and overpowering mind power. This move's abilities extend to moving objects, shaping objects, propelling objects, mentally attacking a player, sending and receiving ESP, reading minds, and even telling the future. As you might guess, although this technique requires little PL, the Intelligence that is called for is enormous. An example of Mind Move would be Guldo's ability to move trees in his assault on Gohan and Krillin
Learned while on planet Kanassa, after completing three quests you gain this ability if you meet the requirements. All other levels are self-taught after learning Beginner
Beginner:
2,000 PL, 16 Intelligence

Costing [(5+INT) x3] in Ki Points.
